"Java Script It!" refers to all files that are installed and used to operate "Java Script It!". "Full and Unrestricted Version" refers to "Java Script It!" when it is paid for (registered). "Trial Verion" refers to "Java Script It!" before it is paid for (registered).
Terms:
By installing and/or using "Java Script It!", whether registered or unregistered, you agree to be bound by the contents of this file. If you do not agree or accept this license then remove Java Script It! from your computer.
Use and Distribution for "Full and Unrestricted Verion" (paid version):
Registering (paying for) "Java Script It!" includes the program, java script code, dhtml code and HTML code. The amount of users using "Java Script It!" at one time cannot exceed the amount of licensed (registered) copies purchased. The "Full and Unrestricted Version" of "Java Script It!" cannot be distributed in any way, on any medium or for any reason whatsoever in full or in part. It also cannot be lent, borrowed, tranfered or sold in any way. You may not distribute your registration code (password) to others so as to allow them access to the "Full and Unrestricted Version" of "Java Script It!" without paying for it.
Use and Distribution for "Trial Verion" (unpaid version):
The "Java Script It!" trial version includes all applications while the trial period exists and only the Java Applet applications once the trial period has expired. Once the trial period is over you may not alter Java Script It! or obtain a fraudulent password as to allow for full use of its applications. There is no user limit for the "Trial Version". The "Trial Version" of "Java Script It!" can be redistributed so long as it is done so without a fee and is redistributed in its entirety. However, "Java Script It!" cannot be bundled and/or distributed with any other software package or catalogue, on any type of media without the prior consent of Todd Climenhage.
Java Applets:
When you purchase "Java Script It!", it does not include the actual applets as part of the payment. The Java Applets that are included with "Java Script It!" are public domain and therefore are considered to be free goods. Once the trial period has expired you may continue to use these Java Applets. Therefore, no warranty or support is provided for the performance of the actual Java Applets (.class files).
Restrictions for All Versions:
"Java Script It!" contains trade secrets, and in order to protect them you may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise reduce this software to human-perceivable form. You may not modify, adapt, translate, rent, lease, loan, resell, create derivative works based upon this software or any part thereof.
Warranty:
"Java Script It!" is provided "as-is" and Todd Climenhage grants no other warranties, express or implied, by statute or otherwise, regarding the fitness of this software for any purpose, its quality, its merchantability, or otherwise. In no event shall Todd Climenhage be liable for any special, consequential, or other damages to equipment, software, or otherwise.
Extent:
This license also applies to all future versions of "Java Script It!" that fall within the major version release of 2 (example: "2.xx"). Therefore, all upgrades of this version fall under this license.
